I'm glad to see a company is finally creating a high functionality open source mouse! If I was to buy the Razer Naga or Steelseries MMO mouse, it would be little more than a standard two-button and wheel mouse under Linux or other operating systems by default. Most hardware designers seem to link their extra buttons and functionality to proprietary methods and fail to provide specs or an SDK. With the OpenOfficeMouse, or future WarMouse products I will be able to configure and use those extra features on any OS! Sure, its not designed with the aesthetics of a high end dildo like Mac offerings, nor the black body adorned leds and aggressive "XTREEM" gaming styling like Razer and Logitech products, but reading through the blog its clear that a lot of time went into creating a mouse for advanced productivity use.
