I personally saw East Germans die trying to get over that wall. Yet my German friends, just 20 years after the wall came down, act like it was no big deal. They deny people died trying to get across. They tell me, "Why would people die? You could cross freely between East and West?"They say this because Revisionists are teaching them that. But I personally saw it - and on more than one occasion. And I ask them in return, "If you could cross freely, then why was there a wall at all? Why was it patrolled? Why was there a minefield in front of it, and anti-personnel mines mounted on the expanded metal fence that turned people into hamburger if they touched it?"Of course, they don't have an answer for that.And now, I can see from my own Countrymen posting here, that we have our own Revisionists actively at work telling a story that is a bastardization of what really happened.I guess thats why Eisenhower told his field photographers to take all the pictures they could of the Holocaust camps, the survivors, and the dead bodies. Seriously? Are we to believe that they don't, and haven't for a long time, had someone to do this for them, and now suddenly after 3 years of having the iphone they are just now hiring someone to handle security, which means the end of jailbreaking? I'm sure I'll get dugg down since I'm not part of the rabid anti-apple fanatics here, but come on, this is a huge stretch of a conclusion to be making.

America's one of the few countries where it's generally okay to squeeze the fruit without gloves. Most southern european grocery stores offer disposable gloves, makes sense to me.

As a resident of the North I would like reparations to be paid by African Americans for the lives lost in my family during the war to free the slaves. I would think a few million dollars would settle the issue all well and fine. In addition, as an athiest, I would like reparations paid by Christians for the suffering experienced by my decendants who were viciously persecuted during the crusades.

I'm actually very positively impressed with the HTC Dream/G1 phone for durability. Before Thanksgiving last year I loaded up a couple of the free games that were already available for the phone, and at my sister's place let a number of kids play with the phone. I figured that if it can't hold up to what kids can do in a semi-unsupervised setting for a couple of hours, it isn't going to be able to handle the abuse I'm going to give it over a 2 year contract. It did well, and continues to do well.The two 'flaws' that the phone has as the moment (in my view, others see other flaws of course) are battery life and processor speed. Mutually exclusive of course, if you are planning on keeping the exact same form factor. But the Motorola phone shows that increasing the size of the phone isn't necessarily a bad thing, which means you can correct both flaws.
